ALPINE VOLLEYBALL ACADEMY

Hello AVA Family and Friends,

After many wonderful years and much deliberation, I’ve made the difficult decision to not continue Alpine Volleyball Academy. This is bittersweet for many reasons. With a number of factors (both personal and volleyball related) aligning towards the end of the season it became clear that, while there will never be an easy time to step away, it is time. I have so many fond memories over the years and I can’t thank our past and present AVA family enough for being such a huge part of my life and, hopefully, you’ll leave us with many fond memories of your own!

I want to take the time to extend my deepest gratitude to our coaches and staff, past and present. Your passion is contagious and you’ve helped shape so many lives over the seasons! The AVA family begins with you. There is no amount of words that can express how much your commitment, knowledge, inspiration, dedication and passion has meant to athletes, parents, and to myself.

To all the athletes that have been through our doors; we will always cherish the dedication, laughter, and life you brought into the gym! There have been so many wonderful memories over our 7 seasons; from the tournament wins and successes found all around the country, to the silliness and team bonding off the court, to the individual wins and growth, to the forever friendships made amongst teammates. I hope each and every one of you has something you can look back on and be proud of. As a coach and director, I’ve always strived to balance challenging athletes mentally and physically with unwavering support and a knowledge for a deeper understanding of the game. As coaches, any time we get to see our young athletes move on to the next level with more passion, confidence, a solid work ethic, and the discipline needed for growth, it will forever bring us so much joy. We hope you continue to grow your love of volleyball for many more years!

P.S. We will have an open house on Tuesday, July 16th from 5-7:30 pm if you would like to swing by! We have some team/individual pictures that still need to be picked up, free AVA gear (shirts, sweats, old jerseys, etc) and stickers. We also have a few new volleyballs and shoes for sale at a discount and a LOT of items left in lost and found if you’re missing anything!

I’ll be hanging around if you’d just like to come say hi also! :)
